Loch Derby

Loch Derby – Named after area of land at the head of Loch Laphroaig on the south coast of the Isle of Islay. Incidentally it sounds like a fine place to ride a horse across the country. (Which BTW I have never done.)

Ingredients:

  • 1.25oz (37ml) – Laphroaig
  • 2oz (60ml) – Barenjager
  • Dash of Aztec Chocolate Bitters
  • Garnish: Chocolate Mint Leaves

Directions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.
  2. Stir together for 30 seconds
  3. Service in a rocks glass with a large cube
  4. Garnish with a spring of chocolate mint
