Morlacco on Fire

It is a riff on a Cherry Whiskey Sour that is all smoked up. This is the second drink that a peated whiskey has turned into magic. I will have to put up my recipe for a smoked Mojito with Ardbeg Wee Beastie.

Ingredients:

  • 1.25 oz (37ml) Luxardo Cherry Sangue Morlacco
  • 1oz (30ml) Buffalo Trace Bourbon
  • .5oz (15ml) Lagavulin 8
  • .75oz (22ml) Lemon Juice
  • .25oz (7ml) Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 Egg White (1 full Egg White takes away from it)
  • Garnish: Luxardo Cherry

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a shaker without ice and do a dry shake.
  2. Add ice and shake again.
  3. Strain into your pre-chilled coupe glass.
